TERMS AND CONDITIONS & PRIVACY POLICY
At The Hotel Card and Priceline.com we take protecting your privacy seriously. For our present and future customers: We may collect your general information, which would include your name, address, phone and email, in order for us to activate your Hotel Card, and/or to contact you regarding your trip. We may contact you periodically to provide you with information about your card, or travel specials that you may have interest. We may use a ´cookie´ to manage your status and verify your identity. We will only share your information to a third party if it fulfills the services, and provides you the information associated with this program. Our service providers adhere to the same strict guidelines we do. All bookings are made through a completely secure and encrypted site, with the primary booking agent managed by Priceline.com.
The Hotel Card must be used toward reservations at any hotel featured on thehotelcard.com website. Users are subject to the terms and conditions of travel as stipulated and posted on the website. Savings Certificate/Cards have no value until the following:
1. The recipient of the Hotel Card has activated their card at www.thehotelcard.com.
2. The traveler has booked their reservation through www.thehotelcard.com or affiliated site as designated on the card you received from Media Promotions International, or approved distributor, or sponsor of Hotel Cards.
Hotel Cards are not credit or debit cards, and have no implied warranties, other than what is specified herein. Hotel Cards are redeemable for hotel reservations made online at www.thehotelcard.com. The Hotel Card cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, check, or credit, only as specified herein. The Hotel Card can only be used once, and no refunds will be given in cash or credit if your reservation is less than the value of this card. Minimum night stays, associated with each Hotel Card vary and is determined based on the program; minimum night information can be found when Activating your card. A maximum of five Hotel Cards can be used by any individual solely for leisure travel - use for Business and corporate travel are strictly prohibited. Consecutive Night Bookings in the same hotel are prohibited, and can be cancelled at your expense - use a single PIN to book multiple nights. Violation of these terms can result in cancellation of your Hotel Card, and/or cancellation of your reservation.

Members of Hotel Club Cards receive a fixed percentage off each stay, and can be used as many times as the member chooses prior to expiration of their account. Club Cards can be used for business or leisure travel, but not more than one person or immediate family members can use the account. Media Promotions International LLC, the sponsor of this program, does not replace lost, stolen, or damaged Hotel Cards. Hotel Cards expire one year from date of distribution, unless otherwise specified on the Hotel Card itself. Both booking and actual hotel stay must be completed prior to expiration date.
Reservations may not be changed or cancelled as indicated on the website. Hotel Card Discount Processing: Once you book your hotel, you will be charged the pre-discounted amount of the hotel room at the time of booking, in addition to receiving an instant credit to your credit card for the amount of the Hotel Card or Club Card Savings. Credits may take up to 14 days to actually appear on your statement, but in most cases, it appears within 24 hours. All transactions will appear from Priceline.com Example; if your hotel stay is $150, and you have a $50 Hotel Card, your statement will show a $150 charge. You will receive a $50 Credit as a refund, giving you a total charge of $100, thus reflecting your $50 savings. No refunds or credits will be issued for any nights reserved but not consumed. Must be 18 years of age or older. Only one Hotel Card may be used per reservation, per family, unless otherwise stipulated on the card or associated collateral. Different cards cannot be used by the same person for sequential nights at the same hotel. Each card can only be used for a single reservation; in the event additional dollars remain on the card, those dollars will be forfeited. If you cancel a reservation, you will not receive a refund or credit on the value of your Hotel Card. This Card is issued by Media Promotions International LLC, which reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time, without notice. Media Promotions International LLC, its agents, assignees and designees, act only as order processors for the hotels/condos, resorts and suppliers, and do not assume any liability or responsibility for damage, expense, inconvenience, injury, accident, death or damage to any persons or property, whatsoever, experienced with any supplier or any hotel/condo or resort, or in transit to and from said venues, and make no warranty of any kind with respect to the good or services offered by any hotel/condo or other supplier. Media Promotions International LLC shall not be responsible for delays or cancellations due to weather or mechanical breakdowns, war, acts of God or any other matters beyond its reasonable control.
Additionally, Media Promotions International LLC´s travel suppliers, including Priceline.com act only as travel providers for Media Promotions International LLC, and do not assume any liability or responsibility for the redemption of the Hotel Card as stipulated herein. Media Promotions International LLC is solely responsible for all redemptions of the Hotel Cards.
Offer not valid where prohibited, restricted or taxed. By participating, participants agree to be bound by these offer terms and the decisions of Media Promotions International LLC which are final and binding. The U.S. Postal Statutes prohibit acts devised to defraud or to obtain money or property by false or fraudulent means, if the postal system is involved. This would include, among other things, the use of fictitious names or addresses. The promotional offers extended to consumers require that the purchase be made by the person who registers/activates the Hotel Card account. This offer may not be published in any magazine or elsewhere without Media Promotions International LLC´s written permission. Certain restrictions may apply.
